Description:
Nicolette Beldin is a typical tomboy, only problem is it’s during the American Civil War. She is a rancher for her father’s ranch in the Wyoming Area, and considers her life ordinary.  

One fateful night everything she has is taken from her. She wants justice, the type only she can serve. She hires a known outlaw to be her companion and help her hunt down those who did her injustice.

However, even with all the sorrow she has received, she can’t help but be curious about her new traveling companion. The more she learns about him, the more she understands that he isn’t the cold hearted killer the stories tell of him. Will she get the venegance she lusts for, or find something greater that she wants?

Blongo   |2009-06-18 22:56:27 This is the first of your books that I have read and I thought it was a great read. I loved the fact that Nick was a strong and independant women and she stayed like that throughout the whole novel and wasn't "bowed into submission" by the hero, which is what happens in a lot of westerns. Saying that she did learn a lot through the novel as did all the other characters and it was nice to see the change come across in the way they acted and behaved. I actually felt myself caring about the characters and their problems. The only character that I found to be two dimensional was Natalie, but other than that all the other characters seemed real. I think you've got an amazing talent for writing, and in my opinion I think you could easily publish it if you wanted to once you've sorted out the errors. So well done! Reply | Quote 0   0
