Description: Valora has been promised to Lord Blaine Stravros since she was an infant. Her father rescued his father during a war, which caused the agreement. When Valora comes of age a new war erupts. Blaine, who is not keen on the marriage, tries to use this to keep Valora away from him by saying it is unsafe to travel to him during a time of war. That is until Blaine’s father dies. Knowing that the Blessed Hearts, the knighthood that he belongs to and the King of Seria, will not permit him to marry anyone but the woman his father had blessed him with, Blaine is forced to summon for her.

Soon Valora learns of Blaine’s former love and of his unpleasant ways. She befriends his brother, Durril, and soon finds a soft spot in her heart for him. Will Valora betray her marriage to be with the man that she loves? Will she find love within her husband’s heart? Or is there more to her new situation then meets the eye?
