Description: Akilah is a young tribes woman. Her culture believes that women should forage and have children. While the males hunt and try to seduce the women with meat. She doesn’t want any part of her people’s ways and wants to become the shaman.

After an encounter with the Exiles, which are males banned from the tribe, she is discovers that her sister and father are trying to bond her to one of the males. One without ranking. She must decided to become an outsider to her people or allow herself to be bonded to a male, which is not normal amongst her people.

Someone made the comment that they would like more descriptions of the landscapes etc, which I thought was good idea, as it would anchor the story, it seems like it needs that extra element of geography or flora and fauna otherwise it seems to float a bit, and it's distracting from the plot and characters. Can sort of see the character types that you like to write about popping up in alternate universe/prehistoric form in this story.
