Update: I got my files from my hard drive and I am now back in business.
I am getting an adapter on order either later today or tomorrow which will allow me to get files from my desktops hard drive and put it on my laptop. Reformatting the file has been painstakingly mind numbing.
So, hopefully I'll have everything back up and running soon!
